ABOUT ME

I grew up near Rennes, in Brittany, but I was born in Pendleton, Oregon, USA. After living a few years in Nantes, France, I moved with my wife to Detroit, Michigan.

After 3 months living in Auburn Hills, we moved to Downtown Detroit. We are on Washington Blvd, so we can't really be more in the city center.

We really need being in the city, so we really like to go out for concerts or drinks, even in the week days.

Please note that we won't let you stay in our appartment / building if we are not there. Sorry for that, but our lease is quite restrictive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

What better way to meet people from other cultures ? We have enough space to host people correctly, and we love spending time with our surfers !
We can't always be in vacation, so welcoming people is a good way to feel like traveling all year long.
Of course we'd be glad to show you the city and the area if we are available when you visit us !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We mostly host, as when we are in vacation we usually don't spend too much time in the cities, so we sleep in the tent in the countryside. I have had only one experience as a surfer, and it was great also.

We have travelled quite a lot, so we can have nice discussions about our respective travels :).

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

well obviously we can give advices on what to do in Detroit. We are also very happy to talk with the couchsurfers who stay at our place !
If we have time we can walk with you in the city. If we have less time or if you would rather spend some time alone to discover the city, it's also fine with us !
