About Me
It took some ups and downs, it took some detours and setbacks, it took some time, but I eventually graduated with a Master's degree in Journalism, left Paris for New York, received my Green Card, and landed a writing job at a magazine!
That's where I am now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered CouchSurfing in May 2009--my first time in the United States. At the end of a study-abroad semester in the Midwest, I threw a backpack on my shoulders and spent a month traveling around the Rocky Mountains, hopping from one couch to the next. Suddenly, meeting strangers, coming "home" to their place, sharing travel stories, and crashing on their couch became a game!
Interests
My passions include people-watching, speed-walking, jay-walking, cracking up irreverent jokes, meeting new people, listening to records, drinking cheap beer, biking, reading, wood-working, photographing, swimming, writing, cooking, and day-dreaming.
