About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Using this gap year to travel and reposition my career in the Food & Wine industry, gain credibility in the wine trade by graduating from the WSET and build some experience in the wine production chain. Planned Itinerary: September - India (3 months)

ABOUT ME

"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism of which may appear to give one piece of mind, but in reality there is nothing more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day, to have a new different sun."

Chris Mcandless

Believe it or not after 8 years in London I have finally decided to listen to Chris and just started my gap year last September. Please ave a look at my blog cvivant.tumblr.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe travelling is all about sharing - experiences, knowledge or contacts this is what makes it so interesting and exiting! I am travelling across India until December 2013 and volunteering is also a great way to contribute and participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing with friends since my young days but never did with strangers through a website. This is a very new experience to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have put together a Food & Beverage program for a hotel school in Cambodia as part of a humanitarian project called EHL smile. The aim of this project is to give a decent education to kids that are left in the dump areas of Phnom Penh. The project was rolled out in conjunction with my hotel school and is still developping today.
