Overview
About Me
I am not very good at talking about myself and I can sound like a jerk but I think my friends like me for my sense of humour, my moods, my honesty and my homemade cakes.
After having been moving from a place to another for the last 6 years, I am finally back in my home place and it feels good to feel the ground at last!
I live with my boyfriend Yacine, in a quiet neighborhood of Paris, near the Seine and close to the center.
I am starting my own business as a tour guide,
( called Saucy Steps ) because I love meeting travelers and show them what Paris has to show. I show people places that are hard to find and still they hide so many treasures that makes the capital of France so special.

If you ever want to participate in one of my tours, you will get to taste delicious chocolate, bread, cheese, wine and ever craft beer, all organic and handmade products!
I also cook a lot at home, and did a couple of trainings in restaurants and cooking schools, so don't worry if I make a fuss of anything concerning food :)
I like to go out on week days for concerts or to try a new restaurant and drink good stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing when I was on an exchange trip in Finland in 2011. We were 9 French students and used one profile to all crash at one place in Oslo. It was pretty intense, we slept on the floor with another couchsurfer from Chile and our host was just so relaxed and generous so it was a good baptisme at the end.
I met so many amazing people by travelling this way, some became my good friends and I stayed at their place every time I was going back to these destinations.
I want to host myself but Paris is so touristy, so expensive and so stressful that I can't just run a free hostel in our small appartement. Someday when I move to the countryside of France I will be more than happy to host travelers in my big house :)
Still happy to help the CS Paris community and give free tours of Paris here and there.
Interests
I like people and humanist stories, I care about other cultures and traditions and I love learning about food and cooking techniques.
I used to be a party animal, loved dancing and getting drunk with my friends, now I am tired all the time so I enjoy staying at home and watch a movie. I guess this is just a phase :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like good melodies and good beats, so any kind of music is good for me. I don't know any names or songs but Radiohead is my favorite, Micheal Jackson too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitched hiked through south island of New Zealand by myself when I was 22, and we covered 800kms in two shots, thanks to that truck driver who accepted to pick me up ! It was scary at first and I thought he would try to murder me and dump me in a bin but he ended up being so caring and I am still here today!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to eat, chose your food from the market, cook it, enjoy it.
I can learn how to be less judgmental and how to sing and do cool yoga pauses.
I can share good jokes, my home, my organic clay toothpaste if your forgot yours ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My vision of Paris, my favorites restaurants and bars, maybe someday my home.
