Overview
About Me
I am from London and I am a life-long London adorer, but I also love travelling and have a long long list of places that I want to go. My lifelong goal is to visit as many places as I can, aiming for every country is a good start, right?
I am a big advocate of travel to broaden your horizons and challenge your world view and so for the last year and a half I've been living and teaching in China. I'm currently living in Yinchuan, Ningxia province and I'm very lucky that my job leaves a lot of time free to travel. I'm slowly making my way around Asia searching for new experiences and trying to see as much as possible.
As well as insatiable wanderlust, I also love food and tend to judge a country by how good the cuisine is. Eating my way around the world sounds like a good plan to me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've found that the best way to experience a place is through the people who live there, whether local or not. I love meeting new people and couchsurfing is the ideal way to meet people and see another side to a city that you might not get staying in a hostel.
Interests
I love photography, writting (I'm an avid blogger, www.gettingoutofthebubble.blogspot.com), and can be a bit of a history nerd.
I also love attempting to learn new languages, learning Mandarin is a slow but steady process.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the stand out memories from my travels has got to be standing in front of a hill top cave as the sun went down and millions of bat flew out all around us in Vietnam. Equally terrifying and amazing.
Hiking up a glacier in a snow storm in Iceland. I have never been so cold in my life!
