Overview
About Me
I'm just a short girl with a tall to do list, eager to develop myself as a person by doing things I didn't believe I was capable of. I've always been a quiet homebody that likes to live in my own thoughts, but I've learned that I can't grow if I don't experience things with others. So, after graduating high school early, finishing my freshman year of college, and working my first job, I chose to travel around the country with my partner for six months.
General things you may want to know about me... I love cats (I don't hate dogs), my favorite color is purple, I'll eat anything except raw onions, I'm a Pisces, my spirit animal is a rabbit (interpret that however you'd like, you're probably not wrong), and if you mistake me for a child, that's okay. I kind of am. Check my interests too, they're so interesting.
Also, an important note: I haven't totally grown out of being a quiet homebody, living in my own thoughts. Socializing isn't natural for me. Yet. I don't initiate interaction a lot, but it's not because I don't want to interact. So, please interact with me as much as you'd like!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm traveling around the country with my partner in a van for six months! We don't really need to surf couches (we already have a free place to sleep), but we want to experience the places we go more deeply than as if we were tourists, and this seems like a great platform for connecting with locals.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'll honestly listen to, watch, or read anything that's suggested to me enough. I'm not a very particular person. My partner says I have no tastes or personality and I just let life happen to me. He's mostly right.
I can't pick favorites with music and books, but animated movies, more like Studio Ghibli and less like Disney (no offense intended, probably), will always be in my heart. They're my childhood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't think I've done anything that would be generally thought of as amazing. Yet. But for most of my life, I lived to meet the expectations of others and I did the things that others wanted me to do. So, personally, I think it's amazing that I'm finally meeting my own expectations and I'm doing what I want to do. Yay.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to be totally inexperienced in life. It's not so bad. Everything is new and amazing with my perspective, and I'm always ready to learn. So, teach me. Please.
