23, British. I work as a freelance researcher, editor and copywriter.

I grew up in a teeny tiny village in the English countryside but I’ve been living in either London or Paris for the last 5 years… &, if I wasn’t there, I was probably travelling somewhere! I LOVE backpacking and am currently preparing for a summer travelling around Europe. I will mainly cover Nordic & Eastern European countries.

For this latest trip, I am conducting some research in conjunction with the Schwarzkopf Foundation. My research will be on young people & European identity so it’s really important that I meet local people as my research will be based on their views. This is why I think couch surfing could be a good option for me :)

I’m interested in photography, contemporary history, current affairs, politics & feminism. Not gonna lie… I will probably want to know your opinion on some political matter but I am very open-minded and just generally curious!

I enjoy meeting new people, socialising and going to new places to learn about their history and culture. I love the outdoors - swimming in the sea is my favourite thing ever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the hope of meeting local people! I’m not really into “touristy” travelling and would much prefer to get an insight into the authentic side of place by living beside locals for a couple of days.

It would be even better if my host was young(ish), European and willing to share their views with me for my research project :)
