HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently travelling in the United States and Canada, heading from New York to Boston, then to Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Chicago. I'm travelling with my lovely friend Holly, and we're looking for hosts. I've not hosted before, but I'm looking forward to doing so when I've moved back to England- I love the types of people you meet through couch surfing, and have always had great experiences so far. I love to be able to see the places I visit through the eyes of people who live there and who have experienced them as their hometown, rather than as a tourist. If you can put us up for a couple of nights then that is amazing, and if you can show or tell us about your city, then even better!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before coming to America I travelled in New Zealand for a few months, and couch surfed with some friends- the feedback and references are on my friend's profile (her profile name is Annalena Doss, in case you'd like to check the feedback).
I loved our experiences of couch surfing- we were lucky enough to meet some fantastic people. Favourite experiences with our hosts ranged from boat trips and surfing lessons to jigsaw puzzles and the best breakfast in the universe.

Intereses

Travelling, obviously! Reading, writing, sailing, walking and cycling (preferably up mountains, but anywhere will do), surfing (very badly), drinking craft beer, dancing (also very badly), drinking tea, baking. But my two favourite things are, most importantly, meeting new people and catching up with old friends.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I can think of some amazing moments when cycling or sailing, or things like skydiving. But often they were made brilliant by whoever I was with, and sometimes the best times can be in the most average locations, as lon as there's the right company.
