About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet lots of people from lots of countries, from different ethnicities and cultural background.

ABOUT ME

I am a Brazilian who lives in Australia. I have been here longer then anywhere else, so I think I am an Australian now as well.
I love music, movies, Latin American literature, people and food.
I absolutely love my job. I share my days with young children and they make me very happy.
I couldn't be whole without my two sons.
I really like my dogs, I have two, one boy and one girl.

PHILOSOPHY

My mother always told me that the most important thing is to be a good person, a responsible and generous human being. That's what I am always trying to achieve each day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, so I would like to stay with locals instead of hotels. Whenever possible I like to host and share a bit of my life experiences with other cs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only had one stay with a couch surfer. It was a great experience. It was exactly how I imagined it would be. I felt welcomed and my host took such good care of me that I came back a month later.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many movies, but I can't forget "The story of the weeping Camel" , "The Cave of the yellow dog" and "Jungle Fever".
Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Chico Buarque, Marisa Monte, Debussy.
Books - South American writers and detective stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Atlanta, Georgia I walked through the House where Martin Luther King lived. I stopped for quite a while just looking at his clothes, shoes and note books and slowly I felt a huge sadness and sense of loss come over me. And I cried.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to be a better cook and speak French and Spanish well.
