Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to know not only new places but mainly to meet people and their stories. Couchsurfing allows people to really know each other, without any monetary mediation. This is one of the characteristics I like most in Couchsurfing. I've always been a bit afraid to use Couchsurfing, but my friends convinced me otherwise.
