Since 2011 I’ve been working at a tech start up as a co-founder. By the end of 2022, I’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye and begin a new journey.

I would like to become a monk at a Buddhist monastery for a few months before embarking on a trip around the world on a motorcycle.

Afterwards, I’m interested in finding work in Zürich. For many reasons, Zürich is a city I can see myself settling in long-term.

On that note, I’ll be in Zürich for a month-long business trip starting May 2022. I don’t know many people in Züich yet, so I am dusting off my Couchsurfing account to make some fun, inspiring and hopefully long-lasting friendships.

I grew up in San Luis Obispo, so if you want to know a few things about the area, feel free to ask. I grew up in this friendly town.

On the first Thursday of every month, there is a festival called "bike night" which happens at down town, San Luis Obispo around 9:30pm. It is very entertaining to watch or take part in. Several hundred people (mostly college students) bring their bikes and ride around downtown. There is always a theme for each bike night, so people usually dress up to that theme. Be sure to have a light with your bicycle because the police will give a small fine to bicyclists without one.

I suppose I can offer a few things…
- A calm mindful presence.
- I’ve been told that I’m not a bad cook.
- One black & white photo taken with my large format film camera (if I bring it…it’s large and very heavy)
- For reasons I can’t explain, I somehow find sweeping floors very relaxing.
