Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to visit different parts of the world, immerse myself in other cultures, and make new friends. I also want to have the opportunity to learn and practice languages.
ABOUT ME
I am a happy, energetic, and positive person. I like people from all over the world, and I enjoy speaking other languages. I have many hobbies. My favorites are Origami, bread baking, swimming, piano and voice. I also love to travel and immerse myself in other cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to be positive, find the best in others, focus on abilities (not disabilities), have a good sense of humor, smile a lot, be thankful for every we have (no matter how big or small), and give back to others in a positive way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a people-person. I enjoy mingling, joking, having fun, and I also have a serious side as well. I like to listen to what others have to say, to give some advice if necessary, and to listen to what others say about me. I am very respectful of people's differences and ages.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never had a couch surfing experience; although, I would love to travel and try it. I have hosted others who were couch surfing.
Interests
Things that grab my attention are good and interesting people who can enhance my life in a positive, as I would do for others. I spend my time relaxing, doing my daily chores, speaking with friends, doing origami, swimming, playing the piano, and working on my computer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classical music as well as all music in general. I don't go much to the movies; however,I like just about everything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing that left me awestruck was Hurricane Marilyn in 1995. That's when I found a little kitten (4 weeks old) and who is now 18 years old) Another incident was a plane crash I experienced while I was on a Delegation (Friends of the People's Republic of China) to China in 1980. traveling on a delegation in China in 1976. The plane made an emergency landing and crashed into a forest. Luckily no one was injured physically.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning from everyone - young or old. However, I feel that older people have so much wisdom and nurturing (generally speaking) that I learn so much from them - especially Asian people. I also respect and being around persons with disabilities who focus on their "abilities" and who tend to be more understanding and compassionate (in general).
