About Me

A total ambivert (I just got autocorrected for that, go look that up) with a touch of shameless narcissism, but I'd hit you with a sound dosage of authentic-I-do-not-pull-punches spunk minus all social calibration once I get familiar with you. ;)

By now you'd notice that you should keep me away from writing song lyrics and that I have a penchant for rambling, long sentences... but I'm trying to restrain it, so I'm going to change my approach from here on.

Also, fetish for bracket usage in sentences.

My ambiversion manifests as such.

Introverted side:

- Sometimes I don't want to talk to another human being (away from me, human!) but I don't hurt people.

- I just love curling up in my blanket and soft toy in the rain, reading a book. High fantasy types (Narnia, Eragon...) or self help books (The Power of Now, Mastery...) score high with me.

- Trying to get into meditation, a pain for me though.

- Closet otaku. I is nerd/geek/whatever. Unlock my analytical side by starting related discussion.

- Competitive Worlds-level Pokemon TCG Player. I no kidding you. Huge geekdom and wearing that badge with pride. Hours poured poring over cards.

Extroverted:

- I will literally go up to strangers on the streets if I want to socialize. Coming from someone living in ultra-conservative Singapore that's saying alot. Expect similar stranger-diving craziness up to eleven if I decide to see the world. ;)

- Did Public-Speaking (Toastmasters) before. At my peak am a National-level finalist.

- Not afraid to take the lead in Salsa sessions and baring it all in my Pole dance sessions.

- Travelling! I love travelling! Oddly enough, I've never seen Europe before.

- A huge party boy - don't let me go near the dance floor please. I tend not to drink alcohol when I hit the clubs as it impairs my ability to set the floor on fire.

- I wear my fabulous mane with pride.

- Did I say love meeting new people?

I want to try so much more in life, but at the same time I look forward to long periods of kicking back and photosynthesizing until September ends.

That's the walking contradiction that's me, but we deal, we deal.

Cheers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As of time of writing, I'm new to the practice.

At first it was practical considerations. I've been travelling a lot for someone of my age and demographic (compared to my peers, that is), and this is probably a good way to save money. I'm being authentic in this regard for sure.

Or so I thought.

I opened my eyes to such a lively community. Before I went surfing on couches I surfed profiles to see the exciting lives of many awesome humans out there. I want to be part of that even more badly now.

I have always loved slumber parties, and I tend to host them most of the time, and inordinately so. Time to take this to the international arena. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life's a crazy ride for me in my short 23 years here on Earth.

I'm always in the moment, so I don't recall and rank my amazing experiences.

Things out there range from the dangerous (going in a car ride while the driver has a heartattack) to the rebellious (trying to go up the fence in the Empire State Building only to have security reel me in).

Just ask me though, I'll probably throw some anecdote.
