Preparing for a hopeful PhD program

ABOUT ME

I am a Singaporean Chinese. About 1.74 metres tall, 64kg light. I am generally a mild person, and love to see harmony and order in all things. I was an Economics undergrad, but also have experiences in Geography and Sociology. Am learning programming (Python) online.

For leisure, I love to read and watch American sitcoms (Friends, HIMYM, Big Bang theory). I had a childhood Japanese Anime/Manga phase that has died down somewhat, but not completely.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about collecting bits of different and interesting memories.

There is no one size fits all. Everyone is entitled to their rights and views, on the premise that it doesn't negative affect others.

I have always wanted to try couchsurfing, but I am also a rather shy person. My friend finally convinced me to give it a try.

- Was a military tank driver for 1 year.
- Acted as a beggar for about 1 hour for my friend's undergrad film course, and 'earned' 1 dollar 10 cents from it
- 6-week summer programme at Kyushu university: Only the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE!
