About Me
ABOUT ME
Cliff Irawan, or you could call me Cliff, has been dealing with hospitality industries since 2011. That was the very first year i got into Bandung Institute of Tourism, yeah I live in a lovely city called Bandung or people used to call it as "Parijs van Java" or "The Flower City" because of it's beauty. I specialized Culinary Art there.
Two year after that i got a privilege to go to Malaysia for about five months, almost six month, to do my internship there. Ever since that, i start to open my eyes about other people's culture ( i used to be quite introvert and silent, not really into talking with strangers) and it's really fun!
Now i'm addicted to make a new friend because i could learn a lot of things from them.
I have a Chinese descent in my family. But we're kinda different from others. My mom used to be a world traveler (well, she started at a quite young age of 20's and have been travel about 65% of this world! OMG i'm so envy with my own mom) so we're kinda open to have a new people in our home.
So, don't hesitate to ask me to be your host!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
beside looking for a new friends, i want to have an unique experience with new people. Like i already said, I want to start my inner traveler soul (hahaha i guess i got it from my Mom) and start my World Trip
Interests
Culinary
Trust me, i can cook! hahahha I took a culinary art major and just ask me to cook for you if you would like to! Basically i learn classic French and European cuisine, but i also learn about Japanese, Chinese, Thailand, Mexico, and Indonesian for sure
Art
I'm a not-so-professional cartography (i used to be one of the best cartographer in my elementary and high school). One of my achievement was i draw an Indonesian map in a 4m x 2m size by my own hand (you should have not believe it, or maybe you should). But, beside that,i can not draw other objects as good as my map drawing. Also, really into architecture! Baroque, Renaissance, Rococo, Victorian, etc.
Music
Classical definitely! I learn to play piano since i was 11 years old, but now i couldn't play it well because i haven't practice it for a long time ( almost 6 years until now to be exact)
But i also like Pop music
Fashion
i'm not a fashionable one, but somehow i know how to dress myself, or even help others to dress themselves. Dunno, maybe another chance i would like to learn about fashion industry.
