About Me
Hey! Cliff here!! I’m super excited to be able to join this community. This reminds me a lot about the culture on the Himalayan ranges where you can knock on any door and you’d be welcomed, fed and sheltered out of the generosity of the land owners. The north east side of the Himalayas is pretty dry, to find civilians can be a bit rare thanks to the dry nature of Himalayas as the altitude goes up. As a new couch surfer I’d have never imagined such behavior would be cherished in the developed world.
Okay! Now about me, I like to travel like most of you, I studied in an international school and have always admired how each one of us viewed the world as a whole, I’ve grown so much over the years hanging out with people who come from different parts of the globe and I know that I’d continue to keep growing as I meet people like you :)
LIFE:
- treat the others how you would like to be treated
- the hand that gives, is the hand that receives
- what you give belongs to you for ever, nobody will be able to take it back from you...
Interests
I love anything and everything outdoors, that’s what keeps me alive. I enjoy corporate world so much, that’s where my dreams lie but outdoors is where my heart lives. Just a walk on the beach or a run to the park or an hour mountain biking can keep me going for an entire week!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can’t place my finger at one, but the most memorable one would be hiking through Nepal for days in a row. The surreal Everest and its reflection of nature’s grandeur. I’d go back in a heartbeat. I still can feel how clean the air was and how pure the streams were. We slept in churches and farms houses and anyone who opened up their homes for us. Every home would have their own cattle and farm and when you’re hungry the lady of the home would ask you to go to the farm and pick any vegetable of our choice for that days meal. I’ve never had a tastier meal than that, ever!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d say I can cook but I’m not sure if you’d be able to eat what I cook I try! Well I was born and raised in Asia, I come with a totally different perspective for life.
I’m living my dream right now and I’d be super excited to have you part of the story.
