About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The see and savor creation in all its beautiful forms

ABOUT ME

Easy-going, deep-thinker, with a heart for people and nature.

PHILOSOPHY

Love God and love people, everything else is minor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some wonderful experiences Couchsurfing in France during the summers of 2014 and 2015. I visited and surfed in Corsica, Brittany, and Normandy, Toulouse, and Verdun, and they were all wonderful experiences with very cool people.

For me, traveling is not only about seeing new things but also about meeting new people in new cultures and expanding my own view of the world through the people I meet in it.

"How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is!
O brave new world,
That has such people in it!"

Interests

I love spending time outdoors, learning the names of trees and flowers, reading classic literature, studying languages and philosophy, and indulging in conversations with friends, old and new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had opportunity to change the lives of some children, and for me that is the most amazing thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is so much to learn, so much to be grateful for.

I can share some music (if you have a guitar) and I can share some recipes from my home that I can cook for you (if I can find the right ingredients, of course).
