About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover and explore life, the universe and everything.

ABOUT ME

I studied Spanish in Manchester, England. I used to own a VW campervan, which took me on some great trips, and a mountain bike, which usually accompanied me in the van. Spent a year in Spain, a year in the Netherlands, and a year in Chile, and loved them all. I now live in Gloucester, UK.

PHILOSOPHY

I am an optimist (I guess most people on here are), I believe that the best way to improve yourself and the world is by communication, and travel is one of the best ways to meet and get to know people.

Interests

I am mainly a mountain biker, occasionally hike, haven't sailed in a while but used to regularly.. that sort of thing. Over the summer travelling or hanging around on sunny days in a hammock with some happy music and some good friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lots of different types of music: AC/DC to The Zutons, Buddy Holly to the Holloways, Jamiroqai to Jeff Beck. I started as a classic rock fan, then added 60s stuff, then came forward in time. Spanish music rocks too, I'm a big fan of Jarabe de Palo. Bookwise a couple of my favourites are Jurassic Park, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenence, and for something a bit more thought provoking, the Mr. Men books are good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a job taxi driving people to the beach and around the place in a VW van spray painted to look like a New York cab. It was great!
I have also been lucky enough to go to some amazing places with my parents, from the Great Barrier Reef to the Grand Canyon.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, France, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
