About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I don't have the chance to travel overseas but am willing to share information with other CS members in PNG (as I was the first member on CS who introduced PNG to the CS site) through signing up during its transformation/early stage so that many people could host travelers.
ABOUT ME
Open, flexible with people and time, and love sharing experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoying every moments of my life while I'm still alive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Personally, I enjoy hosting travelers from abroad so I could expose them to how the average class Papua New Guineans live in major centres' whilst exposing my children to people of other cultures. It's been fun. My family enjoys it.
I also believe this is one way to help promote tourism in my country when their is negative publicity everytime, I have tried to expose the idea of hosting travelers to local people who have been thinking that tourists have a lot of money to spare and live in luxury when they visit our country, which is not usually the case. Trust me! Over 95% of the people would love to host travelers who would not mind their living standards (village lifestyle) but the thought of 'luxury' stops them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Learnt alot on topics of interest from people from all walks of life in different parts of the world.
I have hosted over fifty travellors who either requested or were introduced to me by members of CS.
I have been promoting CS on Facebook for quite a while and thought the concept is good. Many people would be interested in the concept (of CS)but it needs promotion. More people use Facebook, therefore I created this local group to make it easier for travelers to Mt. Hagen to interact with locals and I believe eventually, many people will signup to CS.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read informative magazines and biographies; watching movies that are based on true stories and documentaries. I also have a taste for talent shows.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've walked 18 hours round trip over rugged terrains, hills and slopes, crossed creeks and muddy tracks, and climbed two mountains in very remote Simba District of Papua New Guinea. My ankles were very sore I was not able to walk properly for three days afterwards but managed to attend a very important meeting organised in Pt. Moresby during this time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am willing to assist travelers track/climb the two highest mountains in PNG and visit my village to observe how people spend their lives daily. Mostly in villages, you would be able to see people making gardens, getting food from gardens, collecting clean water for drinking from creeks, collecting firewood, preparing their evening meals etc..
Countries I’ve Visited
