About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving guy that loves to have a good time. I enjoy trying new things, weather it be a new food, sport, or just about anything else. Meeting new people is at the top of my list as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to keep a very positive outlook on life. You never know what is going to happen and you have to be flexible take a ride with life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a bunch of people while I lived in Rapid City, South Dakota. It was hands down the best summer of my life. I met so many amazing people through couch surfing and have learned so much.

I also love talking to people about couch surfing. I feel that so many people are untrusting of other human beings and just talking to them about my couch surfing experiences opens their eyes and shows them that people can be kind and helpful.

I am looking forward to hosting again. It has been a number of years as I have bounced around and not had a consistent living situation. I am now living in my own house and have the space to host guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I LOVE couch surfing!!! I have hosted a ton of people and have also surfed a few times. Hosting is a ton of fun, especially when you get a big group of couch surfers together. My friend Chris and I would hang out with our couch surfers together and have a blast doing it.

I have hosted 8 people in one weekend. I have also met some of the most enjoyable people through couch surfing. I also enjoy CS because you never know how hosting someone is going to go.

I also have done some hitchhiking and that is fantastic as well.

Interests

I enjoy doing anything outdoors. Skiing, rock climbing, backpacking, hitchhiking, longboarding, and just being in the woods are at the top of my list. I also enjoy listing to live music no mater if it is at a music festival or just a small jam session. Relaxing at home, cooking, playing board games, and reading are some of the more relaxing activities I enjoy. Other things I enjoy: Being silly, wearing ridiculous clothing, talking to people, listening to people, staring into a flame, sitting in a tree for hours, dancing (I am bad at it), and SMILING!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, music, and books. I like quite a variety. Ask me when I see you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a semester with the National Outdoor Leadership School. I spent three months backpacking, climbing, and skiing throughout Wyoming, North Dakota, and Utah. It was a truly life changing experience and highly recommend it to anyone.

Standing on top of one of the needles in Custer State Park while a thick for rolled in, making hills look like islands in a gigantic sea. Pretty Awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach and show anyone how to live comfortably in the outdoors. I am currently experimenting with different Thai and Indian vegetarian dishes. I am more than happy to cook and show others what I know.

Some things I am interested in learning:
