About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world, as well as myself, with equal perceverance.
ABOUT ME
I have been very fortunate with the amount that I have been blessed with the gift of travel. My mother took my brother and I all around the world when I was little, but reacently I have not travelled. The last time I went over seas was in 2003 when I was 17 and I was supervised and had little to no interaction with the cultures (which is really stupid) because there were thirty American teenagers there. I've had some time to grow and learn and I think at the age of 21, I am ready to "spread my wings." I am filled with inexpressable joy when I think of being in a new place, and first smelling the difference. I think that is the very first thing I notice about a new country, the smell and the indescribable feeling of a new place.
grrr... I MUST TRAVEL NOW!
When you travel you really learn to appreciate all of the good things that you have back home. I was raised by an incredibly loving and accepting family to whom I am eternally grateful. I have an amazing all black cat named "Mephistophyllis." And I am heading toward where I want to go in life.
I am very easy-going and relaxed. I like to laugh and talk about pretty much anything all...
I dislike conflict, unless it is in the form of a civil debate. Arguments, anger, rage, and hate are all big turns-offs and belong as far away from me as possible.
Basically, I want my positive outlook of the world to be proved fact through my travels. If it is what I think it will be... I don't think that I'm going to want to come back.
PHILOSOPHY
Love, learn, explore, relax, find peace.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I actually joined on the suggestion of my friend who was studying in Spain. I hope to get a chance to experience the project as much as possible. I have only had amazing experiences with Couch Surfers and if we continue this, I believe that our social tolerance, understanding and trust will all be raised to level of extreme compassion and wisdom.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of movies and I watch them voraciously... (I am watching one right now, in fact, "The Rock" starring Sean Connery) I find almost every movie I see intriguing in someway.
I like music with soul.
The House of Leaves, The Mysterious Stranger, Metamorphoses, "Bullet In The Brain" by Tobias Wolff, anything in the Humana Festival, Bram Stoker, Edgar Allan Poe... and more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Total solar eclipse in Istanbul, been homeless in Venice, ridden horseback on the dunes of the Sahara, saw a water puppet show in Vietnam, picked olives in Amman, studied in Cannes, seen amazing community theatre in Porto, ran head first into a baggage x-raying machine in Bangkok, locked my brother into the room of the YMCA Bombay forcing him to pee into a coke bottle, sailed the shores of Holland... and many, many more incredible memories... just ask! I love conversing!
