About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To move into a new house at some point soon

ABOUT ME

Restless, curious and wondering what else to write. Just finished aa great summer and ready to start the new term again in South London. i'm leading the respectable teacher life but luckily I have an alter ego. I like to think I am all the things we all like to think about ourselves. Funny, adventurous, caring, honest, pretty, witty and wise. Best you judge for yourself and be more objective.

PHILOSOPHY

Why not? Which seems not to be a bad approach to life. I like the philosophy of this site, open friendliness and genuinely friendly people. I tend to thrive on the novel new experiences, new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a guy in France who told me about it. I have done a fair bit of hitching and it sounded like just the sort of thing I would love. I look forward to my first time. - Have surfed now and hosted all of which have been great experiences vive le surf!

Interests

Diving, climbing, travel, reading, writing, actually most things I suppose, can't think of many things I don't have some interest in.

Music, Movies, and Books

Last book I read was Never let me go, Kazuo Ishiguru which was excellent but read quite a range. I'm not just going to list books here, or films and music for that matter. just to say I have seen a film and heard music. Ok, bit bored so will list some fav books now, or authors maybe, Italo Calvino, Milan Kundera, Catch 22, Hitchhikers guide, Terry Pratchett, Midnights children, The dice man, , brains gone fuzzy, can't think. Films, In July, the Matrix, Fight club, loads of random things I saw when I was younger as well but have never seen since. Anyone seen Catholic Boys? Would love to see it again. Random French ones tend to be good. Feeling a bit vague. Music esp if it is live and lively, something I can dance to, sing along to, something that makes people happy. Music that reminds me of places and people, music I have never heard before but I learn about becasue of a friend or a new person I have met.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

seems a bit boastful to fill this bit in but i have definitely seen stuff. Foe example I just watched my dad tear his hair out looking for his glasses. That was quite impressive.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I know about reading. There is always a perfect time to read a novel. Sometimes one can sit on your shelves for years, don't force it. I always seem to know when it is that novels time and it always seems to mean more because of that. The most important thing about reading a book is knowing when to put it down and take part in whatever is going on around you.
