About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the remote corners of the world, meet the people that share this planet and take in the views.
ABOUT ME
Before I graduated college I took a semester off to travel around central and south america. I ended up spending all my savings on rocks and started up a small gem and mineral business. After graduating I am spending a lot of time traveling to various shows around the country selling my collection of unique mineral specimens. On occasion, when my inventory is low and my need for adventure is high, I'll travel to other countries and find out what kinds of rocks they mines and sell. I tend to come home with a heavy backpack.
PHILOSOPHY
Respect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first couch surfed while looking for black opal in Honduras. I didn't use the site, but randomly connected with a member of peacecorp in a small remote town. She put me up for the night and told me about couchsurfing. I try to use it whenever I can now.
Interests
I am home in the outdoors. I grew up riding motorcycles in the hills of Humboldt and still enjoy riding. I love riding in Baja California Mexico where the desert meets the ocean and the riding is epic.
I love rock climbing. The vertical world is my meditation.
Surfing comes and goes in my life. I think it is one of those flows I will appreciate till the day I die.
Music. I don't play any instruments but music is a huge part of my life. I love to go out and listen to great live music and really get down.
Food. Who doesn't love and appreciate fine foods! My favorite country for having consistently quality cuisine is Brazil.
