About Me
I’ve couchsurfed 7 time now—-2 times recently and 5 times several years ago (pre 2014).——And every experience, because I got to stay with people of many different ages from many different walks of life, was beyond amazing and I made first class friends each and every time.
Life’s busyness got in the way and the time I had to arrange Couchsurfing stays and hosting dried up but I missed it so much that I want to get involved and host and travel via couching again—- because I have come to realize that it has been beyond worth the extra time and effort for these quality social exchanges.
I have my own consulting company, and being my own boss enables me to indulge my travel bug as I can work remotely from my laptop all while getting to see more of the world. I’m USA Olympic Trials qualified runner in the 5k, 10k and Marathon. I like to start my morning each day with a trail run, than when traveling, I like to make my travels as social as possible and check out sites in the company of others when possible but I’m not shy about going solo when I can’t find a buddy.
I’ve been to all 50 states and 34 (and counting) different countries. I’m open minded, friendly, warm, sincere, and a little shy at first but once I get comfortable my energy and enthusiasm for meeting new people and trying new things shines through... I’m a Harvard grad and New York native.
