Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing for the cultural experience. I've been on two exchange programs so far, one in the US, where I lived for 10 months and one in Ecuador three years ago. I lived both times with local families and from then on, this just became my way of traveling. Spending time with locals, sharing stories from our respective trips and countries... These times are hard to top!

Interests

Beside traveling, I love everything nature related; hiking, swimming, running in the outdoors, snorkeling, diving... But I also love the energetic vibe of cities and enjoy what they have to offer from music and food, to art and architecture... anything really! I'm always up for new experiences and will try everything once.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I have very eclectic tastes as I listen to everything from indian pop to electronic music to reggae or reggaeton! ;)
The last book I've read is Wild by Cheryl Strayed and I mostly enjoy comedies although one of my all time favorite movie is Citizen Kane.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Define amazing?!
I climbed Cotopaxi, one of the highest active volcanoes on earth, trekked Mount Rinjani in Indonesia, got certified as an Open Water Diver, swam with turtles and dolphins and ran a half marathon... and many more things that probably aren't worthy of mentioning here :)
