Music, Movies, and Books

Too many movies to mention. I likes all types of music but no new country music or hating rap. My kids keep me interested in Pop. I read a lot of different genre of books but my latest fav would be Upton Sinclair, The Jungle. I wish I would have read it years ago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Long story short, I was a translator in Laos and was out in field looking for MIA remains. An unexploded ordence was discovered while digging was done. Everyone was cleared off the site except me, my team leader and the EOD Marine sergeant. While we were discussing the game plan with our backs to the site (big no,no), a young male hilltribe worker comes up with a dirt covered, thirty year old claymore with exposed explosive and bb' s pouring out. The amazing thing I saw that day was two Marines shitting their pants on the run!

I can teach you about nursing, Lao, Thai and histories. I sort of like animals. I want to learn about other people's dreams and culture. I can share my hate of VH1.
