COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few years ago i did a solo, 3 month roadtrip around the country and CouchSurfed along the way. I met some amazing people, people that i still talk to to this very day.

Don't play Uno and eat fun-sized bananas. Those little pendejos will put you down.

The morning after a seemingly never-ending Uno game and snacking on little red (not-quite-ripe) bananas in Guatemala, my G.I. was so locked up that I couldn't even walk and thought that I was done for sure. A volcano hike wouldn't even raise me. These bananas would take me to the Beyond.

It turns out, though, that some mangoes will loosen all of that, a tip I learned from my new Uno homies, Anna and Rojo.
