ABOUT ME

I am a very easy going and open minded person. I am intelligent but far from a genius. Always looking for new experiences and great conversations. Born in Oregon, grew up in Hawaii, lived the last 5 years in Las Vegas. My current goal is to get myself to Tallahassee so I can start going to grad school for film production.

PHILOSOPHY

Few things in life are important enough to get upset over. So just get out there and live. I try and always be open to new experiences and people, and live every day as full as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed throughout all of Europe for a few months. Also have hosted a little bit, wish I had time for more!

I guess I am becoming sort of a vet at this now. Surfed on about 19 different couches.

I am interested in everything. My eyes are so wide out in the world now, I wish I could take it all in.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Some of my top favorites are Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem for a Dream, and Chasing Amy. Some recent movies I've loved are Black Swan, Cyrus, The King's Speech. Also watched Vertigo for the first time recently. AMAZING!

Music: Currently into The Shins, Spoon, Matt and Kim, Shout Out Louds, White Rabbits, Airborne Toxic Event, Blink 182, The Beatles, Nirvana, Radiohead, Tool, The Offspring, Godsmack and many many more.

Books: Recently read Bluebeard and Deadeye Dick. Farenheit 451, Animal Farm, 1984, and anything written by Kurt Vonnegut. Also the Song of Fire and Ice series by George R.R. Martin.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some things I may be able to teach others: I have a college education in filmmaking. I know how to play poker pretty well. I grew up on a coffee farm so I know a bit about that. I am awesome at writing essays! Other random skills and bits of knowledge that I would be happy to pass on.

And on the flip side I would love to learn a lot of things, so many, too many to list here.
