ABOUT ME

I'm 24 years old and I'm originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but I've lived in Tampa, Florida for the last 5 years of my life to go to school. I have my Bachelor's degree in biomedical science and I hope to go to medical school when I get back from traveling. I love sports, especially American football and baseball. I love going to the beach and listening to live music and basically just having a good time. I'm very easy-going and laid back and feel that life is too short to be anything but happy.

For the last six years I have lived my life for school and studying and just trying to get my degree. I haven't had much free time for myself, but now that I am finished with school, it's time for me! I believe that life is too short to not take chances and you never know what could happen tomorrow, so always live for today. I think there is too much of the world that I haven't seen yet, and hate to think of staying in one place for two long. I love change and newness and can't wait to see what else this world has to offer.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No couchsurfing experience yet, but I'll be leaving the States July 17th to begin my journey which will last until the beginning of November. I start off in Dublin, Ireland and am hoping to travel to England, France, Spain, Morocco, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Greece, Italy, and I'm sure I'll be adding a few more places along the way. It will be my first time in Europe and my first time couchsurfing. I'm looking forward to the experience and I'm excited to meet new people, possibly make some friends, be introduced into new cultures and learn new things.

I love sports, going to the beach, movies, live music, studying, learning, my friends, fall in New England, being spontaneous, new adventures, not knowing where I'll end up next, poker, dirty martinis, Bud Lite, snowboarding, sushi, real people, meeting new people, making friends, skydiving. Too many things to list, plus I have to leave something to talk about when we meet :)

Movies: Good Will Hunting is my favorite, The Notebook, Armageddon, Disney movies, The Sandlot, Entrapment, The Departed, 300, almost every Adam Sandler and Will Farrell Movie.

Books: Eat, Pray, Love. The Alchemist, Blink, Memoirs of a Geisha, anything by Mitch Albom, My sister's Keeper...

Music: A little bit of everything...but Matt Nathanson is my all time FAVORITE! I love old rock...The Stones, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, etc....Basically the stuff our parents grew up with. Tom Petty, Steve Miller Band, Howie Day, John Mayer, Phish, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Eminem, O.A.R, Dashboard, Pearl Jam the list is endless.... And I love country but way too many faves to name them all. And I'm always up for being introduced to new music...
