CURRENT MISSION Our Enlightenment: knowing and learning as much as possible by way of meeting and learning about and from people around the world ABOUT ME I have a degree in Environmental Studies and Dance and currently work for a local breakfast restaurant and am a member of a local non profit professional dance company. Bo has a philosophy degree and works from home doing big data work. He plays a lot of basketball and is involved in various music-related projects. We have a lot of interests and are always open to new things. We both worked for a farm for a long time and love good food and being outdoors in many forms. We also very much love to get nerdy about coffee.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We have hosted a few times and slept on a few couches in Germany and iceland COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We have hosted a gaggle of surfers who have all been lovely. We have people on our couch often in any case.

We like watching anything from music docs and planet earth, Hitchcock and dumb popular comedies, cult classics and tv shows. Recently took a deep dive into international exploitation films and giallo. Love horror and art. We like a lot of different movies, too many to name, but can offer current faves in the moment.

Music tastes are varied and extensive- Bo has a very large record collection. Interest in Soul, psych, rock, grunge, metal, jazz, various rap, ambient outer space, giallo scores (morricone, cipiriani, piccioni), pop, outlaw country, bad pop country, r&b, punk rock, Fiona apple, etc…
Bo and I disagree about which heartfelt county singer songwriters are good. I don’t super love crazy ongoing squanky sax or the smashing pumpkins, but down with most of the rest of everything. Can’t say we are extensive musical fans, but we do like some (nostalgically music man and Chicago to speak for myself). Bo can’t do some songs after working with a juke box for many years.
