About Me

ABOUT

After traveling full time for 4 years living in over 60 countries, Ive finally settled in my favorite city, Copenhagen.

I tend to be the guy that's up for literally anything. I live for spontaneity, my greatest fear is knowing exactly how the day will go when I wake up in the morning.

It's super weird talking about yourself online so I'll save my best stories for when we meet :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is daring adventure or nothing at all

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is by far my favorite website. It's a ticket to peer through the eyes and minds of anyone in the world, something humans have dreamt of for centuries. I host, surf and meet up with couchsurfers almost weekly, it helps me feel like I'm traveling even while at home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been consistently active with this site since 2011 when I took my first obligatory solo Euro trip. I have a pretty comfy couch for like-minded souls.

Interests

Favorite activities include:
Bad dancing
Deep talks
Non-creepy street photography
Biking with no planned route
Elaborate Spotify playlists
House shows
Finding the most cozy coffee shops
Buying plane tickets to cities I'd never heard of

  • photography
  • music festivals
  • cultures
  • bike touring
  • travelling around the world
  • cocktail bars
  • cozy places

Music, Movies, and Books

3 or 4 books are usually floating around in my backpack.
Favorites this year include:
The Myth of Sisyphus, Either/Or, Simulacra and Simulation, The Obstacle is the Way, Dark Matter, Meditations
I also write in my free time (or at least try to).

Music:
Neil Young, Talking Heads, Alex G, Thee oh Sees, The Replacements, Brian Eno, Caribou, Fred again, The Garden, Big Thief

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sold everything I owned and lived out of a 40L backpack for 4 years. Taught myself photography and grew a travel blog while getting into the remote work scene working in coffee shops across the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't claim to be a professional at any one thing but have about 100 general interests that I know a decent amount about including:

Street photography
Electronic music production
Bike Touring
Social Psychology
Philosophy
Sustainable long-term travel
Remote work
Drone videography
Stoicism
