Looking for my PURPOSE!

ABOUT ME

Just started my office lady's life in Leiden in March 2010. I used to be a student in Amsterdam and now looking for a life purpose (just as someone in Avenue Q says!). I was born in Taiwan and spent most of life there. Due to my generous parents, I've traveled many places in the world.
My broad interests allow me to learn everything new, from reading to traveling. Welcome anyone share with me his/her interests. I would like to appreciate an interesting life experience.

Usually I talk less at very beginning because I'd like to observe the one who I'm talking to. Later, when I have some ideas of the person, I will express myself more.

For Taiwanese, my life is sort of a model for young people, but when I started my life in Amsterdam, I understood very well that that's just a typical Asian perspective. People from other cultures have different points of view of life. Now, I'm quite pending of what I've done and where I'm gonna go.

However, there's a way which will lead me to the right place, right?!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's a good way to share space with people needed shortly. Most of the time, the space generates no benefits for either myself or the society, so if I can share with someone, it would be nice.

Usually, I don't have time to guide surfers in Amsterdam, but I have some guide books (in Chinese, sorry!). I like to share Chinese cuisine with everyone and love to see some foreign food as well. A dinner or a lunch is the way I start to interact with surfers or hosts!
Sometimes I will be very silent at home in case of my assignments or school works, but don't be afraid to ask anything in that situation. I just want to concentrate on my duties, but it doesn't mean that you can't disturb me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since April 2009, I started to use CouchSurfing, and it's just like a whole new journey for my life. I don't know how much surfers and hosts get from me, but I know I learn a lot from them!
Some surfers and hosts gave me inspiration in talks and they may not realize themselves. I think the most interesting part of couchsurfing is that you never know how much you can gain from someone you never know before and may not have chance to meet in the future as well!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: all kinds, except for science fiction and horribel movies.
Music: Especially classical,but I enjoy rock'n'roll as well.
Books: like movies, I don't prefer science fiction and horrible books. Fantancy is not in the same catagory as the science fiction, but I haven't read lots of them, only some basic author, like George Martin.
