ABOUT ME

I'd say that I'm an active person. I enjoy nature, scenery etc. rather than hanging out at home. I love sports as well.

I'd also describe myself as social. I have no problem with being on my own for a while, nonetheless I prefer being among people. I'm not reserved or shy when it comes to meeting new people, I'm easy with anyone.

I love travelling. Whenever there's a chance to, I grab my backpack and go somewhere :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I travelled the U.S. and Canada in 2012, I was hosted by awesome people some of whom I have hosted in return. I love being hosted but I also love hosting people :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed many couches and also hosted and I think this is a great opportunity to meet new people and to really get to know the culture. CS also gives you a chance to introduce others to your way of life. I became friends with some of the people I stayed with or hosted.

Interests

I have a lot of interests...

I play football (soccer), I love running, I do horse-riding, I like swimming and cycling...

I also love music... I could not live without it.

Reading gives me a lot of pleasure.

I enjoy learning languages and I hope couchsurfing helps me to improve my English.

I like to keep myself up to date with what is happening in the world, politically and culturally.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love classics such as David Copperfield, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Pride and Prejudice or Jane Eyre... but also: Bridesmaids, Friends with Benefits or other romantic comedies.

Music: I can't even list all the bands that I love... Some are: The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club, The Courteeners, Frank Turner, City and Colour, Bloc Party, The Killers, Boy, The Maccabees, Johnny Flynn, Laura Marling, Young Rebel Set, The Postal Service, Noah and The Whale and many many more...

Books: I love Victorian Literature (the classics), but also books by Simon Beckett or Sophie Kinsella and yes, I do love Harry Potter but I hate the Twilight books :) Right now, all I'm reading is schoolbooks :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I've done a lot of amazing things.

I lived in Wales, a country of outstanding natural beauty.
I travelled the U.S. and Canada.
I travelled Australia, the UK and Ireland.
I have earned my degree.
I work as a teacher.
I have been promoted with my football/soccer team.

Teach, Learn, Share

Many people I have met abroad love German/Bavarian food. I can share a few recipes or make Bavarian dinner :) I also know the best spots to go out in Regensburg! And I know all about the best brands of beer we have here... :)
I could teach you some German -> It does have vowels :)
In exchange you could teach me more English words.

I'd love to tell you something about my culture and I'm curious to find out something about yours.

I'd love to share my taste of music and if you have recommendation, I'd love to learn.
