ABOUT ME

I just finished a big trip around the world for a little over two years. I am a traveler at heart and I believe that it will always be a part of my life. I studied art and anthropology at university. Currently trying to give stability a go and stay in one place for more than a year... we will see how that goes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted before and hope to host more now that I am back from my travels. I also have surfed all over the world and met some amazing people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been given insider information for countless cities and been taken on great hikes. I have tried lots of amazing local foods and home cooked meals and shared great stories and laughs. I have also been able to enjoy being the host and sharing my home and my city with eager traveler. Surfing is fun but hosting can be more rewarding.

Traveling, eating, cooking, yoga, meditation, cycling, running, reading, eating, dancing, good music (as opposed to bad music), snowboarding, surfing, kite boarding, and pretty much every other athletic endevour, oh and eating and cooking and eating!

Anything by Tom Robbins, especially Jitterbug Perfume! I love reading non fiction books on many topics. But for the most part my music and reading taste are pretty eclectic. Some music I love: Ray Lamontagne, Travis, Parov Stellar, Kings of Leon, James Taylor, and many more.

Traveled the world for over two years. This trip was the best gift I have ever gotten. It is full of amazing experiences: 20 day silent vipassana meditation, lived and studied yoga in an ashram in India, summited a mountain in Peru, saw the Yellow Mountains in China, jumped out of a plane in New Zealand, and so much more, but the people I met along the way gave me some of the best and most memorable moments.

I can teach all sorts of random things like how to half levitate your body(a cool German guy tought me that trick), how to cook some dishes from all over the world, thai massage, and many more. If you have something to teach I would love to add a cool new trick to the list.
