I am a 52 year old single man who lives in Essex England. I have travelled quite a bit and visited the following countries. India, Canada,Thailand, Moldova, Amsterdam, Norway, Germany, Luxembourg, Brussels, France,Spain, Turkey.
I have decided in May 2016 to Travel across America and start in Portland Oregon and my final destination will be Toronto Canada to visit a friend. I intend to hitch hike across the country and miss out the big cities and intend to see a small piece of rural America through my eyes. For me it is a big adventure and relying on the kindness of strangers along the way. I intend to do a facebook update of my journey as a keepsake for me and for others i know to see how its going.I last hitched a lift over 30 years ago and I eel that this is for me the best way to see America. I am happy to cook for my hosts, and cooking is a passion of mine. I have self taught to cook Indian, Thai, Italian English and gourmet food. I am polite, tidy, respectful and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new sites.
