Travel enthusiasm, adventure seeker, and big history buff. I served several years in the military, before getting out and becoming a self proclaimed nerd who likes to go outside. You're just as likely to find me out back packing in the woods as you are to find me volunteering at an anime convention or a lecture about Star Wars at the International Spy Museum. I love learning new things and then teaching them to others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly to find cheaper options for lodging so I can travel more often. I'm also working on a vlog with some friends and staying with locals provides the opportunities to find things off the beaten path.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
Mostly non-fiction, though I do like a good sci-fi of philosophical fiction

Music:
Just about anything, mostly prefer bluegrass, sound tracks, and chill music. Really just depends on my mood. Emancipator, Old Crow Medicine Show, 311, Snoop Dogg, Jake Chundow, and Black Sabbath are all on my iPod.

Movies:
I'll watch just about anything once. Even bad movies have a entertaining laugh factor.
