About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Rejoining the "real world" of employment and finding pleasure in the little things,
ABOUT ME
Voluntarily unemployed, for the time. Now I'm roadtripping across the US to find the city I want to stay for the next couple years. Any suggestions?
I find enjoyment where I can, mostly in music, the outdoors, camping, hiking, and getting into drunken arguments over politics and religion, taking whatever side can cause the most controversy.
And I want to travel. Someday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was introduced to CS by the amazing kArA. Ever since then, I'm into it. I've hosted, I've surfed, I've had a great time meeting new people, seeing new things, and going to new places. My next goal, be more active in the community - attend and maybe host some events. Oh, and get verified! I need to be a bit more settled first...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted with kArA maybe five people? Not sure. But I am sure that I've had two great surfing experiences.
Interests
I love snowboarding, camping, hiking, etc. I like movies, music, live music especially. I like friendly dogs and mean cats. I dislike big trucks. I like recycling. I like ice cream. I don't like long questionnaires, so I'm going to finish this later.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
Over the top action - anything with Schwarzenegger. Recently, I liked Eagle vs. Shark.
Music:
Very broad. Recent stuff I'm into: DeVotchka, Spoon, LCD Soundsystem, Justice, Cinematic Orchestra, way, way more...
Books:
Just finished "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" while surfing in Norman OK.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every morning I wake up, I think that's amazing. Every night I get to sleep, wow. Sometimes it's because today was a truly good day, other times it's because I was tempted to throw myself off a building.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an engineer, so I can do math. I can also tune a mean snowboard. I like to cook, but would hesitate in other peoples kitchen because I'm protective of my own. I would love to learn more languages but sadly, I've tried and failed. Living in Montreal taught me NO Francaise, and two classes of Spanish got me the basics... :( If anyone out there knows how to maintain a good life-work balance, I'm all ears.
