Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came to know Couchsurfing due to my Finland host, Sirius.

Really appricated that she introduced couchsurfing to me, whereas I can have a chance to experience the local life when I was travelling.

Meet people from different countries.
Listen to the travellers & locals' stories.
Learn different cultures.
Broaden my horizon.

The way of looking at the thing depends on your frame of mind.
I used to think this city is too tiny, I felt bored. But after the traveling and meeting new people in the European countries, I found that u could never get bored unless u've been to every pieces of the place.
Back to my hometown, I've done hiking, kayaking, wake-boarding... also been to many places that I've hadn't been to before in my city and took many pictures. Although I lived in Hong Kong over 20 years, there's still many places you can explore and discover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I knew and registered Couchsurfing during my trip in Finland. However, I start using it after the 3-month travelling in European countries, as I don't have a chance to use it during my travel with friends or some short time solo travel in a city (2days1night).
Back to Hong Kong, I tried to use Couchsurfing and met amazing people from different countries, it is interesting that I get to know more about the cultures, policy, geography... some surprised me!
Using Couchsurfing in my hometown to meet people from the other countries seems like I'm travelling. I'm glad that I can meet friends in different nations.
