ABOUT ME

I recently graduated (May 2015) from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA as a biomedical engineer. After graduation, I took a trip around the world before settling down and joining "the real world." I have now been working for almost a year and have developed a greater appreciation for my travels and vacations. I am also a competitive triathlete and love the outdoors. My ideal vacations include trips to the mountains and backpacking the backwoods.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to meet ups and surfed a number of times. Unfortunately, I had not been able to host effectively as I lived in a fraternity house for several years. I now live in a house with two friends and would live to host as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed several places around Europe so far and I hope to host once I get back to the states. I have had great experiences and have made several new friends through couch surfing. One of my favorite parts of couch surfing is the conversations I have had with hosts; it is interesting to get different people's perspective on world and local issues wherever I am traveling. I have stayed everywhere from the floor to an igloo and loved every minute of it.

I think if more people in the world couchsurfed, there would be less issues.

Intereses

I enjoy anything outdoors. I love experiencing new places and enjoying the local culture. I am a competitive triathlete, cyclist, swimmer and runner. I enjoy a good sporting match of any sport and love learning about others.

I am an engineer and did research in nanomedicine and gene therapy; I enjoy the hunt for discovery and the path it takes me on.
I am pursuing a career in business consulting.

I also enjoy a good night out.
