About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travel on vacation with my boyfriend, open up my mind to new people, different lifestyles, meet interesting people with motivations similar to mine...
ABOUT ME
Music, movies, tea, magazines, books, a fireplace, cold weather, trips to the beach in the wintertime, knitting, watching sunsets, kissing, dark colors mixed with bright colors, music, waterfalls, green grass of tunnel, italy, india, driving in places I've never been to, good literature, the kind that makes you go away with the words, wine, spending hours at supermarkets in other countries, friends, internet, massage, miranda july, films that touch you, dolls from around the world, dictionaries, books, city guides, poems in the bathroom or in bed, teas and the culture around them, learning new languages.
PHILOSOPHY
living a life as simply as I can but that is not so simple as it seems. I love some of Gandhi's quotes and try to remember them in times of need. Specially the one that says "be the change you want to see in the world" and "happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to host but I travel a lot so it's usually a bit complicated. I always try to contact people from places I visit. I did that in some occasions and it's been always great!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had wonderful experiences in Turkey and India. India was never the same to me after my couchsurfing experience. I still hope someday I will be able to go to a traditional Indian wedding.
Interests
movies, music, design, web culture, handcrafts, and my real passion: languages - i wish I could speak them all. every new place is an opportunity to learn the very basics, and everywhere I visit I buy a conversational guide hoping that will keep me connected to the place, the culture and the people I have just met.
