ABOUT ME

We are a young, married couple desperately trying to see as much of the world as we can before it's too late! In the beginning of 2010 we started a round the world trip that is taking us to every continent except Antarctica. We love to get to know cities and countries from an insider's perspective, which is why we love the idea of couchsurfing. We are easy-going, friendly, and funny (at least, we think so) with backgrounds in creative arts. We can be ridiculously laid-back and have no need to follow any sort of schedule or itinerary. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we have never hosted, only surfed, because we joined a couple weeks before taking off on our journey around the world. We will definitely return the favor when we get back home and open our home to travelers passing through.

Interests

Movies, dancing, making friends, cooking and eating well, pets, hiking, traveling, foreign grocery stores, anything that involves being outdoors, taking pictures, video games, keeping our blog updated, Apple computers, creating art.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One??? How bout a few:
- sat meters away from a roaring lion in South Africa
- survived a massive thunderstorm while standing face to face with Devil's Throat at Iguazu Falls, Argentina
- summited the Mt. Ngauruhoe volcano (Mt. Doom from LOTR) in New Zealand
- trekked for three hard hours along the Great Wall of China
- two words: Taj Mahal
- braved a monsoon storm in order to be all alone in the Ta Prohm temple in Angor Wat, Cambodia
- descended four levels down into a mine in Potosí... that will blow your mind
