About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore new cultures and experience authentic adventures with new friends.
ABOUT ME
*** PLEASE READ: We are not living in Istanbul. We are back in Czech Republic***
I teach fifth grade at an international school. My job is amazing as it gives me the freedom to travel the world and teach kids from a variety of cultures! I love living in different places and especially enjoy the challenge of learning about and adapting to new experiences. I live with my husband Jirka who is from South Bohemia, Czech Republic. We are two vegetarians with a love for nature and music.
PHILOSOPHY
"When you dance you can enjoy the luxury of being you" - Paulo Coelho
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and host regularly! So far, I have nothing but great experiences. I feel really lucky to have found such a friendly way to travel and meet new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed in Paris, London, Vienna, Budapest, all around Germany, Spain, and Czech Republic.
I stayed at a beautiful house while traveling along the Grimms brother's fairytale road in Germany. The couple we stayed with had a lovely little house in the forest...it was an unforgettable experience.
Interests
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. My favorite style of dance is African but I am recently experimenting with different forms of contemporary.
Spicy food makes my belly happy, especially Korean kimchi :-). I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, especially with baking. Your favorite vegetarian recipes are welcomed!
I enjoy visiting exhibits and appreciate modern art expressions like, contemporary theater, electronic music, and graphic design. Additionally, I like playing with trash, creating various art pieces and DIY projects.

Film festivals=best excuse to see multiple movies in a day, love them!
As far as music, something different for every occasion. Here is a taste of what I am always in the mood for:
