To meet interesting people, to begin to see the world, and experience as much of the world as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm weird, funny, shy, honest, quirky, random, thoughtful, can be impulsive, logical, a thinker (despite what my girlfriend may say), curious, passionate, bored, focused, excited, I am ready to experience the world and all it has to offer and to meet as many different and interesting people as I can.

I have two more classes left of college until I graduate. Its taken 6 years and I get to this point and think I'm totally done and now I actually want to go on and try for a masters degree...

PHILOSOPHY

Love God Love People. I don't always follow this but I try, honestly people can be hard to love sometimes and God well I always love him but I don't always behave in a way that suggest that. I think people though are generally and genuinely good and mean good. But we are also generally selfish and self serving.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only as a traveler for now, I'm in a transitional phase as far as my living situation (that's a facny way of saying I'm living back at home until I graduate and can get a job that actually pays decent). But in the future I completely intend to host and allow surfers on my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Interests

Life, people, languages (I only know English but I'm learning spanish and I'm going to start learning Italian and possibly French pretty soon). I am Christian and that is who I am, but I have a different view on Christianity than most people that I know, I don't think it's all about rules and what you can or can't do or should or shouldnt do. I think it is about knowing God and Jesus and caring for other people. And caring for other people doesnt mean cramming a Bible down your throat. It means caring pure and simple.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Guy Ritchie films... Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch etc... Fight Club, Boondock Saints, Rocky films, Lord of The Rings (books too)...

Music.. big fan of 80's rock, classic rock, really into Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Coldplay, Keane, getting into some more independent and underground type stuff, so much of what is put out these days is just total junk and not worth listening to but if you look in the right places there are some great musicians out there...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A night in Jerusalem that involved Hookah, some beer, and a celebration of Shabbat...

Teach, Learn, Share

Relax and Pay Attention... I think people as a whole need to just relax and take things a little easier but at the same time we need to pay attention to what is happening in the world around us. But that is why I say relax because if people are paying attention and are relaxed, then when the government or whomever does something they don't like they will not be so enraged and will make a more sound decision and we can actually make positive changes in this world with rational people.
