About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Vivir!

ABOUT ME

I spend most of my day singing, dancing and hoping my pre-kindy kids keep all their bodily fluids to themselves. (as a teacher)

I'm massively into films and books, I very much enjoy trying different sandwich combinations and my feet are slightly larger than I would like.

PHILOSOPHY

I steal most of my philosophy from Winnie the Pooh. He's one wise bear.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing, hosting and meeting travelers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every couchsurfing experience I've had so far has been brilliant. I surfed for a few weeks on the west coast of the US in the winter, overwhelmed with how friendly and welcoming our hosts were and have since hosted people back in Sheffield. CouchSurfing is a must.

Interests

I like food, books and sleep. But will try pretty much anything once, except maybe bungee jumping, and most things involving heights...
There's a whole world of things to become interested in!
If you want to surf with me I'd appreciate if you tell me a little about a food you LOVE.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to anything, watch anything and read anything but currently I'm into anything apparently, I keep writing things and changing my mind, too many good films. Same with music. I'm currently going through an Aretha phase but anything from scandi rock like Nephew or Kaizers Orchestra to the Immortal Technique to PJ and Duncan.
Gone With The Wind. Best novel ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I want to say the Great Wall of China, but ever since that video on youtube of a dog dragging another dog off the middle of a road to save him...

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm. Languages is my strong suit. Anyone wants to practise Spanish or English, I'm happy to talk.
I got roped into buying some wheels to attach to the backs of my shoes the other day, if anyone would like to teach me balance that would be lovely. Or fancies a little chat in 普通话, that'd be lovely too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty good cook...
