I'm married to an incredible woman. I love to camp, hike, fish, and explore. I've blissfully spent considerable time in previous years as a brewer, a potter, and a writer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We (my wife and I) are available to host. We are also always up for coffee, drinks. etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I moved out to Portland, Oregon, in March 2006. My first winks of sleep in the Pacific Northwest were on the couch of a fellow couch surfer, the wonderful Caroline.

Whatever you have is good with me . . . for movies, I like quirky things (garden state, sideways, etc). In regard to music, I listen mostly to classic rock with some country and alternative thrown in from time to time. With books, I read nonfiction about social-science related stuff, and fiction by Vonnegut, Grisham, Twain and Hemmingway, among others.
