ABOUT ME

All about me?? All is much to say in words, let's say that I am a Valdepeñero (from the south-heart of La Mancha) currently trying to enjoy youth... ;) I have worked as many things and studied many others, but I am still as ignorant as I was before all that, maybe, however, with different strategies to understand reality. And so doing I arrived to Brazil, where I am living now, trying to work on linguistic diversity and discourse... I don't (no way!) like writing translations as much as working on interculturality, teaching languages and having beer with need-to-be-met people. Is this all about me? not at all! obviously all about me is at all interesting. Summing up, I can say that having lived in many places, and with many people, and having been and forever being constantly away from hypocrisy and close to friendship and love, have made me a much more open-eyed person. PHILOSOPHY

In Paulo Freire's words: Studying is a revolutionary duty / everyone must be capable of reading the world... that's the main goal of my life: understanding a bit more what is this world about and trying to find an explanation about this mixture of wonder and injustice... while enjoying the pleasure of breathing, laughing, smoking, having loads of friends and relationships, and doing everything that is both radically risky and radically sensible, sei lá!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted already several people and all have been wonderful experiences, and I have also been hosted by wonderful people who made me feel at home far far away from other homes... and i hope to host more people and be hosted too! In these years that I've beeing into CS I have met many interesting people in meetings in Bolivia and Brazil in places where I was living, plans are always excellent and it is an extremely fine way for newcomers to get to know funny and open-minded people showing them around and "swapping an idea" (ou "trocando uma ideia") with travellers and nice people wherever they are from. And so far I was hosted once and my experience was just unbelievable!!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best friends in Brazil I met at one CS meeting in Floripa! Everyone I know who already participated had excellent experiences! and being hosted in México City was just perfect! and also in RIo! and also host all my friends from CS was great!

Languages, linguistics, tongues, music, poetry, Literature, travelling, foreign languages, local languagues, learning, teaching, drinking beer while having brainful conversations with anyone up to smile, languages! being alive, experiencing the pleasures, misfortunes and contradictions of being a mind-bearing animal and an openly instinctful person. Making up new words. Thinking and writing and studying and living against neoliberalism. Being happy.

Books: the very last one is one by Oscar Cerruto, I like so many books... but I still read far less than I want and I should (even though my work is merely reading and writing...): Eduardo Galeano, Rilke, José Saramago, Alberto Caeiro e todos os heterônimos de Fernando Pessoa, Ángel González, Jaime Gil de Biedma, Francisco Brines!!!!!!! Cualquier persona que se digne a echarse un guitarreo conmigo y tenga buenas ideas.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Ir a las termas de Santa Fé en Graná, morar do lado da praia no Sul de Floripa, having partied in London, Budapest, Lisboa, Glasgow, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Madrid, volver a casa a las 5 de la mañana sin nadie en el Paseo de los tristes en Granada, emborracharse en Valdepeñas, talking and working with all my friends in Cochabamba, dançar até 5 horas da manhã com altos sons no centro histórico de João Pessoa, ser un profesor loco y un alumno excelente, playing brazilian music and reading my poems on stages solo or with parceiros, falling in love! NACER! NASCER! BEING BORN!

Teach: Portuguese, Spanish, eventually but currently English, whatever I've been able to learn before.

Learn: German and all languages and cultures of this world..., trying to learn guarani!
