ABOUT ME

I have always loved traveling. I was homeless for about a year and a half many years ago and used that time to hitchhike and make friends around the United States. During college I lived with many of my old traveling friends and they always brought more. I have been couch surfing and offering my couch to travelers for many years and am very happy to have found a website to assist with meeting new people with a similar view of hospitality.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies but usually only watch them when I'm bored. I don't watch TV except for cartoons and documentaries. If I don't learn something or laugh, I'm not interested. I try to read everyday; mostly veterinary journals but I am also working through a huge stack of books I "inherited".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Set fire to the back of a horse during an acupuncture class. Don't worry, the horse was not harmed and even seemed to enjoy it!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sew with dental floss. It will never break and the wax helps hold the knots.
