About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to experience everything life has to offer!
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty easy going and always up for an adventure! I love meeting new people & trying new things!
I'm also a sports fanatic, and love spending time outside. Whenever I travel somewhere I always look for neat spots to run- sometimes it's along a river, in a park, or right downtown. No matter where I am in the world, when I'm running I'm at home.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that life is what you make it. I once read that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. I try to react to everything positively and with a smile :)
Currently I'm on clinical rotations and unfortunately not able to host anyone. I'm looking forward to meeting some amazing people while I'm out exploring!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like the CS website because not only does it allow you to meet awesome people while traveling, but also because it helps you get to know other people in your area. I like being involved in the different groups and getting to know other CSers close by.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my first CS experiences was in Monterey, California. It wasn't my first time surfing but it was certainly one of the best. I was taking a road trip with 2 friends up Highway 1 (the highway that goes along the coast of California and has spectacular views the entire way) and one of our stops was Monterey. The 3 of us stayed on the floor of our hosts' room, and because we were in a tight space we got to know each other really well. Our host took us to an international film festival one night and we had a blast sitting outside on the blankets drinking hot chocolate, eating snacks, and watching the films. We had such a great time we decided to stay one more night than we had planned. After that I was officially hooked on couchsurfing.
Interests
I love the outdoors and can't spend enough time outside! I really enjoy backpacking and almost anything sports or travel related sparks my interest. I'm an avid runner and am currently trying my hand at triathlons.
I also like to cook/bake although my recipe knowledge is pretty limited. I love trying the local cuisine wherever I go- so much culture is expressed through meals.

Music, Movies, and Books
"What is your favorite ...?" is one of the hardest questions for me to answer. I've never really had a favorite movie, book, etc. My favorites change all the time, but some books I like include: A Million Little Pieces, Crime and Punishment, The Power of One, Freakonomics, Born to Run. Some of my favorite movies are The Italian Job, The Blindside, The Bourne Identity. As for music I love variety: rock, alternative, pop, a little country, some rap, salsa, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent an entire month outside.
Teach, Learn, Share
Going to a bar and having a drink is often the best way to really learn a language.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Chile, France, Spain, United States
