About Me

I'm originally from Santiago, but have lived abroad a couple of times and travelled a fair bit so far. As of these days I spend my time reading books on history and politics, writing and playing songs and biking around the city or climbing. I work walking people through the city as a freelance tour guide and also run an internet business with my brothers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think some of the most interesting things about traveling, besides revering marvelous landscapes and delicious food, is meeting and connecting with people that know the world from a different point of view, soaking in the richness of every different culture, and yet also realizing about how very similar we all are as people in the end.
During my trips I've bumped into the kindest strangers with whom I've shared memorable experiences, and been lucky enough to receive their hospitality, sometimes without even asking for it. I feel like I should act the same with people who come my way, and thus I'll share what I can with fellow travellers, whether I'm at home or out on some adventure.

Interests

I love music and books, and generally any kind of creative activity. I play, sing, write and draw. Lately I'm into moving a lot, so my bicycle is my main mean of transport. Climbing is the sport I've been working on in the last few months, and stepping out of the city into the mountains or out in the beach is something I try to do often. Studying the way society works and transform keeps my mind busy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything with some soul in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 17 I set out on a trip halfway across the globe to attend an international school in Hong Kong. There I spent two years living together with people from all over the world, getting submerged in a truly multicultural environment which absolutely expanded my view of society and life in general.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you around and tell you all about what I've been learned so far about my home town. If you're into music too we can definitely share some jams, along with a couple of beers or j's, and definitely some good conversation about everything and nothing.
