CURRENT MISSION

I've been living in Xiamen, China for about four months now studying Chinese at Xiamen University. In order to really get to know the Chinese culture and to force myself to practice my limited Chinese, I decided to travel around Sichuan and Yunnan by myself for a couple of weeks.

ABOUT ME

Well, it´s always hard to describe oneself. I`d say I`m quite cheerful and easily amazed :) Some people would say I`m naive, but I prefer to call it idealistic. It`s important for me to be active and around people - and to laugh!!

PHILOSOPHY

I tell people I´m too stupid to know what´s impossible. I have ridiculously large dreams, and half the time they come true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not the typical traveler (I hope). When I`m couchsurfing I try to take in as much of the foreign culture as possible. Although I can`t host anyone right now, I still love to show people around. Couchsurfing is such an amazing opportunity to get to know new, interesting and often very unique people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

... amazing so far :) So far I have only couchsurfed in Europe (France, Finland and Estonia). Every single host I have had and every single person I have met through couchsurfing has taught me so much. What I love the most about it is that it enables people from different cultures, with different views, different experiences and different outlooks on life to meet and learn from each other.

兴趣

I did my undergraduate studies in Politics and Sociology; right now I am getting more and more interested in Urban Planning and the influence a city's built environment has on urban dwellers.

As most people on couchsurfing, I am really interested in different cultures, languages and people most generally :)
